LMBO .... I guessed that! They BOTH look great... inspiring. You do good work. The 4S in the 190 is sweet too. I am about to add a P-51 to the stable so I was curious if was a TF also.

Do tell.. What paint did you use on the monokote? I'm hoping to get another here within a few days and I don't want to strip it too much..

Not truly historically accurate, but I decided on doing it AFTER I glued the rudder on, so I went with a slight variation. I'm happy with it, more work to do yet, and then there is this darn white stuff!

Thanks for your comment, not as nice as some here, but I think she's pretty cool

[8D]

Roughed up the Monokote and airbrushed acrylic over it, then flat clear lusterkote. Weathering is chalk (as outlined by J. Redman in the hangar 9 P-47 build) then more flat clear.

Hey Convair if you were the pilot that is what your plane would look like so it is correct😎. Nice work man

There were so many of these that were undocumented; how do we know that scheme isn't accurate.

Love the spinner!

I am waiting to put the three bladed spinner on. What is the best way to paint on that spiral?

Then he should get booted. Not cool if he has a record of that type of behavior! I rescind my original impartial peace making statement![>:]
Here's some more wulf pics to get the topic back on track.

I love this gray speckle paint stuff. It has over taken the fake carbon fiber as my favorite interior. Painting this cowl was a PIA! It was really hard to strip/sand the eagle off, and I am a horrible painter. Love the look though! I painted two of the spinners, one for a two, the other three blade. The three blade turned out better, and looks cooler on the plane
Looks like you and Roberto have formed a small TF Luft-gang over there! Cool, wish I was closer.

Yep, I used that little tutorial that WWIIP38 recommends... worked great, even with a putz like me!
