I don't think you did, its just this bent wing thing that puts people on edge, don't let them get to you, I would recomend one thing move the C/G foward at least 1/2 inch this will make it easer to land as you have to fly it right down to the ground before pulling off all power.
Have fun.

just got the 5 inch wheels from robart all aluminum scale spoked hub., wow is all i can say. you use 2 servos one for the rudder needs to be 90 oz of torque. the ret., tail wheel uses a stand servo and a pull pull cable operates it. when TW is up the lines go slack and that servo does nothing until the TW extends then the wires tighten and you can turn the tw

The other part and the reason for the matchbox is that if you read up on this stuff, i.e. the TF GS Mustang manual, it talks about setting up the tailwheel servo to travel further than the rudder servo as the ground handling is much improved. Now while a Y will split the signal, there's no adjustment for travel, and it's not possible to trim the tailwheel servo independently for straight taxi after the rudder is trimmed.

there is no need to spend $50 plus dollars on a pilot...below is pictures of my pilot I purchased for ( 88 cents at walmart. ) .it was an action figure swat team doll came with its own cloth uniform all I did is add head gear, goggles, face mask, head phones, and the hand made flotation or ( may west ) gear...and several different acrylic paint shades to add color...anyone can duplicate this pilot find a picture on the internet acrylic water paint is all you need to add scale colors..

RCPILOT78, thanks for sharing the info and photos, looks great... I will look into those. Any idea what the length of the figure was so I get the correct scale? Wish I had more artistic ability for painting, that gift went to my daughter as she is the artist and my talent is limited to photography. Think I may have to hit her up for some help with the realism part... Nice work! Thanks...

I was not able to find the pilots manual on heirtage web site, the one that saw several years back had a lot more pages so it would be really big I think, but could be done one on one and if you could find one.
RC Nice job on the pilot.
Zeeb Your right about the tail wheel trim, except so far I have been able to git straight running after a couple of clevis adjustments, at least good enough for our grass field. anyway you don't taxie a hog nose in a stright line your pilot has to see what he is going to hit

i cant fine them id like two one for display cause they are so detailed and one for the cockpit. I have a scale depth floor as I rerouted all serovos to side nount positions. i go crazy with these and you cant see the detail from 10 feet but its fun to build a really big plastic model that flys. BBT are not artound michigan. toys r us has figs but i need marine corps aviators!

Last night, Gibbs gave me a call. The subject of markings and stencilling came up. Here are a couple links that you guys may be interested in.
The first is Get Stencils. Gary Sibert is a great guy with an excellent product. The Stuka on the homepage belongs to Lionheart, from the UK. He's a friend of mine, and highly recommends these. products http://www.getstencils.com/
The second is for Tank's Hangar. They sell self adhesive stencils for the small lettering such as the "no steps" etc. I have a sample of this product, and will use it in the future. http://www.tanks-hangar.com/html/stencils.html
