The ranking on the worlds site is correct, but they are missing a panel of scores. Here is a shot of the official semi-final results.

This was a very difficult worlds, lots of very strong pilots, and challenging conditions. Everyone was flying well!

The carry over points are in the column that say "Panel 1" and the "Panel 2" column are the normalized semis points. If you add Panel 1 + panel 2 you will get the semis overall points

No, you don't based on what's on the website. Look at the previous post by Chad to see the proper scores. The scores on the website only show the prelim score and one of the panels from the Semis. For instance, try adding the two scores shown for Brett Wickizer and see if you come up with his total score... That dang website had me confused for a few minutes until I decided to check RCU...

Everybody flew well, I did not see QQ make a mistake, but it´s really hard to explain what we saw at the finals, the flights are so perfect it´s difficult to figure out why any given pilot will drop positions, but that´s what TBL does, your scores might look great at any given time, and then.... well, you are screwed.

CPLR was without a doubt the best pilot, period, pretty much, we all new he was going to be the champion, but we were sure QQ was second, Benoit had a bad Unk 1, he almost lost his airplane on the last reverse snaps, but his last Unk.... it looked like CPLR was flying it, it was identical in my opinion, and 999.51 says it all.

It will be interesting to see what´s going to happen in the USA 2011, will the majority of the judges be from Europe again?

The judging in this worlds was very good, and it looks like all judges kept a constant standard for evaluation.

It´s so easy to tell them apart by the scores you read, but watch them flying the schedules is a different story.

what i mean to say about Quique why he choose to fly electric this time.... as he some time back said i am brought up flying glow planes .... so flying electric is bit different experience.........

He should have flown glow like he did last time..................... as far as my experience goes you don't get to see the smoke line or the engine sound..?????? it sounds dead to me... i enjoy flying small electric foamy but a 2x2 plane only glow..............

SERIOUSLY . . With a pilot as experienced and respected as Quique . . we MUST understand that he would have been VERY happy with the electric set-up otherwise he would have flown with glow.
