Before I start on my canopy again I would like to have these top wing halves done and out of the way, so that is what I have been working on. They only need the cap strips, a couple pieces of sheeting, and one hinge installed. I will finish these up today and then head over to my Pitts for the canopy.

This was suppose to be a post to declare I was done with the wings and all that was left is the sanding. But about the time I hit the shutter button I realized I still have to cap strip the ailerons. It's my bedtime so first thing tomorrow.

Awesome, Robert. I cant wait to see how you cover this plane. I am very soon going to get my bench built with the sheetmetal top and magnets. My first build is going to be a Herr Stearman to accommodate a little .9 engine that I have. Ill be using what I learned from your Bulldog build here.
Keep up the great work!

Thanks guys. AA, it will be covered with Poly-Lite and painted with Poly-fiber.
Being as the weather kept me from my canopy I sorted the electronics and currently installing servos in the wings. Where the servo screws go I doubled up the ply and replaced the stock servo screws with socket head screws for ease of removal at a later date.

It is a work of art to be sure. I finished one project today, have two more almost finished planes to attend to, then Ill start on a Stearman. I will have lots of questions, but I already have lots of answers thanks to this build. Squirrly, I don't think I would trade this plane for the Mona Lisa !

Seriously though, sounds like you have some work cut out for you. Good luck.

Glad you like it after all it is your plane. The package from Toni just came, everything looks good but I don't know if the intake tube will fit, we'll see. And here is how I align the engine for marking the bolt holes.
