I've already joined up - but I forgot to list the glow engines I own:

Thunder Tiger PRO .46 - High hours but runs great, installed in a Phoenix Models Dolphin - was also used previously in a Goldberg Eagle 2.
Thunder Tiger PRO .46 - Not currently in an airframe, in good shape.
Thunder TIger PRO .46 - Not currently in an airframe, like new in box.

OS .91 Surpass II - High hours but still solid, waiting to go in a Goldberg Super Chipmunk I'm going to restore.
OS .46 FX - High hours but runs great, installed in my Great Planes Stik 40 - 70 flights and still a blast to fly.
OS .46 FX - Well used, installed in my recently restored Goldberg Tiger 2.
OS .40 FX - Not currently in an airframe, in good shape in box.
OS .46 LA - Used, some moron that owned it before me reamed out the engine mounting holes - ok otherwise.
OS .40 FP - Used but in great shape, not currently in an airframe.
OS .40 FP - Used but in great shape, not currently in an airframe.
OS .46 SF - Used but in great shape, currently installed in a Great Planes Escapade .40.
OS .40 MAX - Old engine in nice shape, not currently in an airframe.
OS .61 FX - Not currently in an airframe, in great close to new condition.
OS .61 SF - Not currently in an airframe, has considerable hours - but is solid and still has original OS carb.
OS .61 SF - Not currently in an airframe, just a little nicer than my other 61 SF but it has a Super Tigre carb.

Magnum .52 4 Stroke - Installed in a Sig 4 Star 40 - High hours engine that buzzes right along - give it a nice prime and it starts so easily!
Magnum .70 4 Stroke - Installed in a World Models Super Emeraude - Pretty low hours - close to new condition.

Super Tigre G-.75 - Brand new in box but......Chinese - not Italian.

Of the glow engines I own I would say: OS are great all around / Thunder Tigers are an excellent value and comparable to OS engines / Magnum 4 Strokes are under rated, mine run great!

That would make you #29. Welcome.
Guys, I know a guy who ALWAYS has great stuff for sale. He has 3 OS wankels. I'm seriously considering buying one just to have one.

If I spelled your name wrong, send me a pm and I'll fix it. Does anyone know how other brotherhoods do it where they have the roster every couple of pages without having to retype it every time from the beginning? I know there's a way. So, I've been searching all over the hobby shops in Ct for FAI fuel for the ST G3250 with no luck and I didn't want to have to pay the outrageous HAZMAT fee to order it. Today I stopped at a little hole in the wall shop and low and behold, he has two cases of Byron's Aero FAI fuel at only $75 a case. Imagine that. Now I just need to build a bigger test stand and I can finally run it in. Yippee! I can't wait to fire that big ol beast up. Anyone have one of these?
Yeah, I have a ST G3000, ST G3250 and a big monstrous G4500 too. At the moment I am not flying any one them.

I want more Enyas and Jett's myself. Though all of my engines run great, the cackle of a Jett is something to admire. 20,000rpm on an 8x7 is ridiculous but soooo cool.

That's one engine I've never owned but always wanted one. My 3250 is bolted on the nose of a 1/4 Rearwin speedster. Bit of an overkill, but with a smoke pump should be a good time. I used to have a ST 3000 on a cermark pitts. That one was a blast. I actually flew the wings off of it.

What is the purpose of a brotherhood, other than giving a long signature?

Something is faulty as it ran fine for 3 fights and the 4th it wouldn't start. Moving engine to test stand and still not getting a running engine with all the variables you changed tells me something is wrong with the engine. I suspect an air leak in the crankcase.
Understand. It's too cold to mess with right now, but in a couple weeks will do so. It has to be the front bearing. It's the only thing I haven't changed .. I'm hard headed and it just doesn't seem it could leak enough to prevent running. Bushed engines leak all the time and still run.

For an engine to run one minute and not another no matter what you change tells me something happened. Hoping it's something simple but who knows.

It weeds out the hardcore gasser/EI guys that dog the glow guys.

Besides, what's the bother?

Wish I had that RJL right on top of that pile. Mine is about worn out. Just replaced the crankshaft and noticed the cylinder top had a good amount of lip on it. You can sign me up as well. I've only got about 25-30, half in airframes and half laying around in boxes. Most 2 strokers but some 4 strokes. Chinese, Japanese, and USA, all run good.

You aren't out of the hobby if you are looking on here. You are just taking a break from actively flying right now.
