That's actually not a bad idea, safer to cut the hex instead of the wheel.

Better hurry cause fall is almost here and the X0-1 rubber suck without heat in them.

That is a bad ass looking truck Steve, you need a couple clocked Nova's in that thing and it will be bezerk.

I did run mine long enough to note it had the most power I have ever experienced in any r/c engine, ever, and if you want video of how much power they have there are lots of clips at www.clockworkracingengines.com. There is plenty of evidence to prove what a master engine modder can do with the BEST engine money can buy there, check it out, and yes that truck will be fast with one.

Robin does top notch work......if I ever stepped out of the business and sold my tools and was unable to do my own engines, Robin would be the guy who I would send my engines to.........

Robin and James obviously have their own personal differences that need to be sorted out..But I want no part in any of that......... I am just a engine guy and my interest in any of this goes no further then the engines and talk about engines........I Am all for competition as I love racing, but I want no part in any unsportsmanlike behavior...... cheers !

I apologize ,, was just trying to get a honest opinion from some one who has had both moded motors . Was not intentionally stepping on no ones toes, it is obvious that Robin mod's are superior cuz they hold the speed record and are well built , the punishment they have to take running w.o.t. For the distance (1000 ft give or take)due to the gearing they need to go 75 mph is a tribute to his motors .
