Hey sports, What masking do you use on your bodies? I've tried masking tape, masking paper, and 3m painters tape.... I've had the most luck with the masking tape.
And Chevy all the way!

ThunderbirdJunkie's OG Savage X, and pieced together bastage-child Savage X project. Handling was obviously not the goal with the new one...Has Losi Super King Pins, Mugen wheels, a 3 speed, and will be getting the rusty but trusty Mach 427 and an 053 pipe with 14/52 gears.
But the clear body is going on the old sweet truck...have to decide on a lid for the tallboy...Perhaps a K5 body to go with the K10 body for the lowrider?

I'll give the Hobbico Master Mask a go and see what it can do, I just started using an airbrush and they are AWESOME! So much control with it! I think I'm going to paint another body (but which chevy should I paint this time?) haha

Cool video man! I think the mount worked great. However, I dont know if I would have a video of the inside of my entire house on the internet.

Well I did some thinking about it and if there isn't any personal info then who's to say it's my house? HAHA anywho yeah I don't think it matters too much to show the floor plan of a house from a savage's perspective...

Not trying to be mean or anything, spoonrc, but I think SportsFans has answered that question about 4-5 times already in this thread, maybe more....?
Anyways, the UPS man showed up today with a nice present for me
Got my savage up and running again, tuned her up today, made a video and managed to burn two tanks before it got dark outside!
My tuning stand/field box

She fits nicely in there...
And the video to go along with all my pics!

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S750. I don't know if they make it anymore... it is a 7.2 megapixel 3x optical zoom digital camera, Takes nice still shots and decent videos.

RE: PICS OF YOUR SAVAGES !!
This is my pretty much stock XL after 6+ gallons of abuse.
I have a downgraded plastic spur, and a downgraded set of cheap clutch shoes.
I guess one could say this is less than stock.
I have a bent chassis from a meeting with a 4" steel pole at 30 MPH sideways.
She still runs true.
Missing a few screws, but for an XL that is a minor setback.
Used a coathanger to fix the brake linkage for free.
I drove away from that.
Had no brakes, but drove away nonetheless.
Body ain't pretty.
Duct tape after 6 gallons is in order-
Here's the 5.9 engine after 6 gallons-
Here's the rod-
And my personal favorite pic of my XL-
With the greatest of ease.

RE: PICS OF YOUR SAVAGES !!
went out today to start her up and she blew the pull starter... Ugh now its time to rewind it and retie it...
Broke my knot...
She was primed and ready to go...
I've got a leak... and don't know where it is...
Bad day... gotta spend it inside at least...

RE: PICS OF YOUR SAVAGES !!
On those it is usually around the backing plate, the one way bearing shaft, the base of the carburetor or the mid needle-which is actually an adjustable seat for the LSN. The base of the main needle tube or the o-rings in the main needle itself. I did not have much trouble with the LSN O-rings, as long as they did not come torn from the factory. Be sure to check your fuel lines and fuel tank, especially the O-ring on the lid. I have one I have to push the lid shut so that it snaps in or it will let the exhaust blow air through the tank and foam up the fuel. Glen
