Great planes Kit questions
what 1/8 ply wood is GP using in there kits ? Birch ? They call it lite ply. need to beef up the landing gear on my .40 extra.

Lite ply is end grain junk wood between two sheets of Poplar. For gear or engine mounting, I'd replace it with regular (read 'real') plywood.

I second SST's recommendation. Go down to your LHS and pick up a piece of aircraft ply. Midwest supplies various sizes. It doesn't cost too much and it is far superior to what comes with kits.
