Hey Crew,

Check out these pictures Bob sent me this evening, he took them this morning.
This is a Virgin RC Surfspot.
It is called "Point Moore".
We have watched this one for years and the kids play there in the summer time.
The waves are sick and break out a little way and as it gets closer to shoreitjustTubes Out to the max.
It is just around the corner from "Pages" and starts breaking this time of the year.
I just had to clean and rebuild my board 'cause it was all dirty and sitting on the bench in pieces for the last couple of days.
It is getting late and I am meeting Bob at the carpark at 5:45am, wind and swell should be good for it again tomorrow.
Fingers crossed.
I might have some cool new pics for you all tomorrow night.
I still have to mount my Dude on his leaky old shooter so I better go.
Sea You All Tomorrow.

G-day crew.
No the surfer didnt know skull was out there until he dropped in... tho he was very interested to check out skullman back on dryland... Yes this boards a surfcurls the deck seals are the same.. ive changed the rudder linkage to a rc surfriders.. as you know it leaked and bent al over the show while turning the servo.. plus ya get a bling servo arm to match the feigao motor.. renforced the top deck to stop flexing and removed all the marine epoxy off the board.. the rudders im using are fibregass fins ive made.. plus i run a brass prop as im using this gear over heavy ground.. The last and most important mod to the board was a yellow lighting bolt painted to the top deck just like jerry lopez

Bob Marley's uPVC glue is the stuff im using for all repairs on the board. she's messy SH#t takes 2-3 days to cure like rock but it's the good stuff.. marine epoxy joining plastic is a bane [:-]

Hey Goggz,

How 'bout posting a pic of your fibreglass fins.
Are they singles?

I still have not gone to sleep, gotta meet Bob at "Hells Gates" car park in 2 hours.
Think I better stay awake or I will never make it.

Hope them waves are still there.
The wind is perfect at the moment. but the swell might be a bit smaller.

Board is all cleaned up and ready to run, what a night.
I had to fix the heels on the Dude too, they were a bit smashed around.

Then, at 2:00am I decided to tape up a rail and cover the cracked marine epoxy on the seams with some Sikaflek.
The stuff is only just touch dry so I won't get to do the other rail until after the surf.

The Dude has not had a good run for a few days so I am all amped up to go.
Better go get a shower and a feed.

Got a 6'0" shooter and wettie in the car just incase he starts heading out to "Hells Gates" (The right in the background.)

46 years old and still a grommet, Ha Ha Ha.

Surfs Up!

Yahoooooooooooooooooooooo

I Would Guess Your Run Hours

Could Be About 300 Hours or More !

Thats A Lot Of Run Time,
Especially Over Reef, Near Groins And Throwing Waves
Of All Sizes ...

I Love It !

HiGuys,

Here is a little bit "Moore Sickness" from this mornings session.

Offshore again tomorrow, maybe we will go to "Bowes River", then I will really have some hot pics.

This is an awesome hobby / addiction.

Goggz,

The Skull Dude rips.

That place you are surfin' at looks wicked.

Bob and I went to "Bowes River" this morning, it was solid 3 foot sets and howling offshore.
The tide was really low and the place was grindin.

It was a bit outta control but the Dude made it home intact.

It is all reef right to the shore and it was hard work with the wave size and wind.
Might have a few pics later on.

Meanwhile, here is a couple more shots from yesterday morning.

Sea ya.

Cool Vid Seb,

It's Amazing how many waves the Rc surfer can ride, while
other surfers in the line up have to sit and wait for a ridable wave to catch.

Riding one, kicking out, hitting the trigger back out, to catch another is Priceless !
