You can usually score F4.6's(or F .28's search for either) on ebay for around $120-140 new that were pulled out of savage X's
manifold, and pipe shouldn't be that much probably around $50-60 for both (depends how good of a tuned pip you want there are some for $25)
Servo minimum I would say would be a Hitec 645MG I will be honest its been a while since I bought servos, and don't know if there are better ones then that for less. throttle servo any fast servo should do IMO
Radio Flysky GT2 for $20 would do ya fine I own a few Flysky radios, and they never gave me any real issues. Now I will admit these radios don't have the bells, and whistles the more expensive radios have(which only highly competitive racers really use), but for just having fun they are perfectly suitable.
Dunno someone might know a better setup for less so don't go 100% off what I said wait on ordering for other opinions as I've not really ordered any thing for 1/8th scale RC's in awhile.

Pull start will not fit the stock mount. Be careful with your method of raising the engine. Using simple washers will limit the cooling heat flow into the chassis.

Thats what I bought yesterday the tamiya TRF801Xt but im still undecided on a motor. Also ive never used a starter box the only niyro rc ive ever owned was pull start so how would is set that up

Generally u buy a specific starter box or one that is comparable with ur chassis.
so what that means is, u need to be able to set the locating tabs to fit ur buggy so it's secure when starting.
one good thing about running a bump start engine, as they call it. Is they don't have a cam for a pull start so they have a lighter rotating mass and makes it a more responsive engine.

Starter box's are awesome, u place the car on the box and locate it on the taps. It's spring loaded with a pressure switch so it only starts cranking the motor when u push down on the buggy... Only down side it does require more maintenance than a pull starter

I Am not sure Ia m following how you think a starterbox is more maintenance ? other then having to charge batteries a starterbox is far easier to live with tday to day hen any pullstart or rotostart..........Starterboxxes are also a bunch more reliable too................. The only issue I see with them is guys dont quite understand how to set them up properly....but once they have that under their belt and have the box up and running they probably wont want to touch a a pull or roto again.......As its a huge PITA next to a starterbox.......
