Hello,
I am not aware of any way to do it or what gearing combination it might take. Your best source for this type of information would be your local Traxxas hobby dealer. You can find your nearest U.S. Traxxas dealer at this link! http://www.traxxas.com/products/trx_products.htm

the 12t titans can't be used with that much voltage, they'll burn up
that's why they told you it can't be done,
traxxas customer service just saved you the cost of 2 burnt up titans, you should be thankful

The 12 turn titan was not made for the emaxx. It was made for the stampede rustler and bandit XL-5s.
You gotta remember the emaxx weights a lot more than any of those 3.

im gunna still try and get it to work
im gunna still try and get it to work
Why?
Its not going to work. It may work for a little while but youll probably smoke the motors in 2-3 runs if you even get that out of them.

Or you could just save up and go brushless. Then youll have some good speeds.
Edit: oh yeah check out Kershawdesigns.com they make some 700HO motors. Theres some vids on youtube too.

I kinda have to agree that Traxxas support isn't the greatest. But a titan 12T shouldn't go into a Emaxx. Also please use the "edit post" Feature just a tip. Anyways I think Traxxas could have addressed this a lot better.

have handled it better?
they told him it
wouldn't work in that application
then said try a lhs
then gave him info to find a lhs
what more would you have them do?
and as far as "bugging" the guys
at the lhs
they love to get people in their stores
traffic is what makes sales
point of fact
imho
traxxas customer support
is about the best there is
find one other industry where
a company will send free replacement parts
just because somebody calls
and says it broke

In my honest opinion they could have told him straight up that he should not run it with the 12T. They kind of left it wide open for debate.

If you get an email where someone disregards grammar and doesn't go into any detail about tires or volts there is only so much you can do.....
