Unfortunately the EXT has a different transmission and the B2 gear wont work in it. You can swap to an ST trans case pretty easy, but you'll have to swap driveshafts as well. Check the top of page 381 for the parts you need for the b2 diff conversion.
Tower hobbies has all the parts you'll need for the trans swap and the diff. And you will also need the left and right outdrives for the ST ball diff.

Do you all have any experience with the Duratrax Streak ESC ? Or would you recommend a different esc ? Thinking about hooking up a Reedy Flash Modified 12T.

recommend a Traxxas XL-5 or Duratrax Intellispeed 12t. probably find a un-used or slightly used XL-5 from people upgrading to BL for fairly cheap.

pro boat makes a sweat waterproof esc that will handle 15t motors. it is super cool and can run up to 12v. so far it has been able to handle a 2s lipo, havn't tried 3s. i got mine off ebay for $30 from china, and i couldn't be more satisfied

for ebay just do a search on pro boat waterproof. so far the only one is see on there is $46 but i maybe if you wait the china seller will put another on.

35a is kinda low, i think that is what the mamba micro pro is rated at and thats for 1/18 systems. you also won't have much motor choice. i would try to find something with at least 50A

I found a vid of a guy running an evader with the EZ RUN 35 AMP combo I was considering as a brushless upgrade. He has a 2200 MAH Lipo in it in this video. Does it not seem like this might be a nice, cheap way to go brushless? Here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=smRdb...e=channel_page

RE: The Evader Coalition ~ T.E.C.
this might be a odd question... but since its getting nicer out my little girl keeps bugging me to make her up a truck to play with while I am out on the street with my mamba version... which she can't play with for obvious reasons...lol... plus she's only 5.. lol. Anyway, the question I have is... if I was going to set up a basic basher for her to play with I want to see about putting in the slowest motor possible. I mean I have a enough extra parts to make up good enough evader basher... but again I'm thinking the slowest motor the better. Would putting in a actual crawler motor be TO SLOW... I mean she will most likely play with it for a matter of running a full 1500 battery dry.. and then that will be it... lol. Just wondering if any had some thoughts. Thanks

or you could stick something behind the trigger/turn down the settings on your mamba vader. maybe drive it with her and teach her some stuff, then if she wants her own car she might be interested

Anybody run a 3s lipo? I'm sizing them up. I'd like to know which ones fit for sure. Looks like I may need to modify for any of them though.
