no you can't... well you can but you need to replace the pin with a thinner one and the lip on the stub axel is annoying and damages the rim a bit when you run it... and i stripped out my rims pretty easy with them....

I can't blame the weather here.
But my Venon Universal connector wasn't properly soldered and got loose.
Hadn't time and patience to solder it back.
I'm starting painting a Dodge Charger body to fit a Revo 5309 for a friend.
Paint incompatibility, airbrush problems....
First one is always hard.
But after this one is finished my clear DSX-2 body and Led lights kit should be here...

I got the crawler and blitz out on the weekend but it was limited to one day because of the snow. I am going to get the blitz track ready.
Had a chance to play with the castle field card. Its pretty slick for quick changes but isn't as comprehensive as linking to the PC software.
Baja is built and the body is being painted.....

Just to make you guys jealous...
Temperatures here has been reaching more than 31C (88F). [8D]
But I have to admit, it's only nice when you are at the beach.
Too hot for a big city.

RE: Official E-FIRESTORM thread
The new controller showed up today looks pretty good. I don't have any batteries in it yet so I haven't played with it. I did notice that the dial on the top is mislabeled. the arrows next to the left and right both go the same direction. lol no biggie. The receiver is nice and small. I will post pics soon..
Update: Got batteries and I am impressed. It is easy to navigate the menus. set up was easy. everything seems to work. I won't know more until mother nature lets me go play
The only downside is I didn't get the instructions or the disk but, they are available for download on their site...

RE: Official E-FIRESTORM thread
I would love to get one of those mini savages. I saw some pictures with it next to a regular scale savage flux and it doesn't look 1/16 to me. Its more like 1/10 or 1/12. Its definitely not the hot bodies mini-zilla rebadged.

RE: Official E-FIRESTORM thread
Hey guys,
Have not been lucky.
A-Arm broken, front upright set broken, shock tower leaking, turnbuckle bent and now my ESC seems to stop for ne reason in the middle of a run???
@DarkSide: what kind of shock are you uisng in the above photo?
@DarkSide: what kind of shock are you uisng in the above photo?
That (ESC issue) was not happening with a 7.2V NIMH and happens now with a 8.4V NIMH.
My LHS has asked me to bring back the leaking shock tower... They have also ordered a link card to tweak my ESC to see if anything helps...
Anyway, this 8.4VNIMH (Blue LRP) is a killer: wheelies on demand and 15minutes run time full throttle.
Have a good week,
V
