So I picked up that flo-tek body from proline and so far its looking good. They say it stops the parachute effect. Once i get it painted up ill post pctures and then let you guys know how it work.
I also replaced the front bumper with the rpm one and it looks and feels so much better

How's I've been having a few handling problems with my slash, so to reduce turn in I've gone with a stiffer spring on the front. Wow I'm impressed, because the front has reduced traction, the rear end stays planted better coming in and out of sharp bends. Still got a lite bit more fine tuning, but only $3 for the losi springs these shocks are paying off

Looking good, painted yet?

Highly recomend the STRC lock nut hinge pins, After only 1 year my stock hinges were all scuffed up and they kept on loosening from day one, now I don't have to worry about them falling out and suspension has no more resistance in the shafts because they can spin around without loosening. Yay lol

I just got a 4wd slash.
Gonna make it 2wd by just removing the front drive pins. Then start getting what it needs to get running.

I recently traded for a Slash 4x4 roller. I installed a Traxxas 2.4 radio, VXL brushless system, and Hobbico CS-160 servo. Then just got this Raptor body

Now gotta figure out what tires and wheels I wanna run

That does look sick. All you need is the rpm bumper with light bar in it

Thanks, yea I was planning on running black wheels and have been wanting the RPM front bumper. I'm also planning on replacing the VXL with a Novak SC system.

Are any of you guys running 2.8 tires on the stock VXL system ? I just got this set a few days ago. Ive been advised to install an 11T pinion (which I will have to pick-up). But wondered if it gonna trash this drive train ??? Thoughts ?

Im actuall not sure what the body came off. I got it from a buddy who races Nitro. I just like it cuz its real tough for bashing unlike the stock body. I also also tell those interested that these wheels are alittle too much for the stock drive shafts. Ripped one apart on the first pack jumping. So I decided to monun them on my Flux XS instead as its got steel drive shafts. These tires also ballon like crazy and should be tapped.

Thats sucks... sounds like the slipper might of been a big tight???

Just wondering what bit broke the yoke? Driveshaft? axle?

I found the stock plastic yokes very easy to twist of the joint.

There is alot of drive shaft options for the slash 2wd. things from modified jato shafts, slash 4x4 shafts, and with some hub upgrades it looks like u can fit the X01 driveshafts. oh and MIP make some non teliscopic CV shafts.... Im torn on what to fit to mine.

Hows this for sucky......

My SCT body is long gone and im using a HPI Mt2 F150 body.....
I decided to lower the body but found the ESC fan is nearly touching the body... this body is trashed and will never look good again so cutting it is no problem...
so I cut a hole in the tray for the fan.... stupid me somehow pushed the guts in the fan into it self and snaping if the little plastic tabs...

now I have to wait for a new fan

Yeah that sucks. I ripped the rear right side outter yoke on the slash. Lucky a small HS in town had one so I was back and running the next day. But now Im looking for another set or wheels for my Slash. I have plans to mount up an Emaxx body when I get one.
