As already explained in my support email this night, this is an unusual error I never had sofar. Therefore pls do the follwowing:

Start the Reflex.
Click to the menue and select RADIO - CHANNEL DISPLAY.

You should have something like

Do the bar move in correspondance with your stick movements?

Please let me have that answer before checking the next possibility.

Cheers - wolfgang

Quattro,
I bought Reflex a couple of weeks ago, and with W2K and a skysport 6A it works fine.

The only problem I had was that my aileron rate was set to a maxumum travel of about 70% at the Tx, and this meant that there wasnt enough travel for reflex to calibrate this function.

I just tweaked the rate up slightly at the Tx and it works fine now.

Hope you get it working because its a great sim...

I tried Aerofly Pro and Reflex at sandown and bought Reflex, basically because it took me three attempts to get of the ground, and I figured the harder it is the more realistic it probably is...

In that case we clearly have a mechanical problem with the contact either in my connectors or in your buddy socket. The last but very rare possibility is a defect in the USB interface.

Please move the connctors a little and check if things improve.
Do you have a chance to test another radio with that connector, maybe at a friends PC and radio?

The last chance is a possible defect in the PPM code of your radio. What happens if you connect a receiver and servos? Do they move correctly?

Are there any other USB devices connected to your computer?

That's good news. In that case we only have 2 possibilities left: connectors and drivers.

Please disconnect any other USB device from your computer. Go to control panel, system, hardware, hardware manager - input devices (Human interface device) and right-click to the HID device left. Select UPDATE DRIVER and direct the driver search to c:\program files\reflex. Pless ok for 10-20 times ...

Thisway, you are directing the input through the interface exactly to this particular driver and not through the standard Windows HID driver.

Please try this and let me know what happens.

I am afraid, the Interface has a serious problem, Could you please return the INTERFACE only either to Century or directly to me? I will exchange the Interface FOC agianst a working and tested one. Sorry for the inconvenience. You will find my adress on www.reflex-sim.de.

Pls do NOT use these settings as Reflex is a pure 32bit pogram running under XP without any modification. If it runs on your friends XP machine - are there any programs waiting for USB input like Pocket PC syncronisation software, printer program supervising the printer pager and ink?

I have had simlar problems with XP . IF the Flight sim is an older program for some reason they do not work well on XP even if you switch the program to run on 95,98 ,2000 . It is the XP program .See if they have an updated version for XP.

Reflex works VERY fine under XP and 2000. There is no need for an update, 4.0 is written for XP and therefore there is no need for any compatability setting.

Its the cable! I had the same problem, the controls were jumping randomlly! In my case the problem was in the connection of the two cables i.e. the jack that connects the USB part with the Radio part of the cable. There was a short-circuiting going on. I soldered a new jack. Problem gone!

Initially I was realy disaponted as I had high expectations from Reflex. Fortunately I solved this quickly and am now able to apreciate the REALITY of Reflex tothe MAX!
