The only problem I have with clones is if you where to spend much time and money doing all the research and development on some thing which is one of the reasons the HPI cost more then some bought one of them and just copied it how would you feel? I am not found of thieves no matter who they are. But what you buy is up to you. I do not know about the clones but I do know HPI has GREAT customer service.
