paying 150.00 to 160.00 for theese parts would probably be better than trying for months to get in contact with hellya and not get any mounts at all.Dirby

Make sure you always insure all items...or you might have people tell you their order never arrived and then you have to give them a refund.....

I surely hope this isnt directed at me! I NEVER received my mounts that you put in the regular mail with no insurance!!!!!!!!!!!! I also pm'ed you and kept you updated daily as to weather or not i got them. I also never asked you for a refund, instead i asked you for what i ordered which was a set of motor mounts. Maybe some of the others on here are trashing you for no reason. I started this thread a long time ago when i couldn't get a hold of you for over two weeks. When you replied everything was fine, i got my pinion gear just fine. I then ordered aluminum mounts WHICH NEVER CAME!!!!!! NoW i feel as you are acussing me of getting the mounts and asking for a refund. This is B.S.! AGAIN I NEVER ASKED FOR MY MONEY BACK!!!!!! And to comment on your quote, yes you should insure anything you ship because things do get lost. Things dont get lost that have any amount of insurance on them. I sell stuff on ebay all the time and i make sure i send each and every thing with insurance and tracking and absolutely nothing has ever gotten lost. I am sorry my thread has cause a 123 post bash session. This surely wasnt my intent. I hope you dont get out of the part supplying business and i can vouch for your honesty.

Yes i ordered motor mounts and never got them. He told me he sent them regular mail with NO insurance. He refunded my money promptly. He's an honest guy but it seemed from his post that he was acusing me of receiveing the mounts and getting a refund.
Yes Branford hobbies is still there. I do some of the repairs for them. Mark who was probably the kid in there when you were a kid is running it now his father passed away a few years back. They are good people there and are willing to help anyone who needs it.
Yeah the 5b has way better suspension and seems a lot more refined than the firehammer. The firehammer drivetrain seems to be outdated. It makes a ton of noise while rolling. I sold my CRT and picked the firehammer up for my 4 year old to run with me. He really likes his 1/8th buggy better so i may be selling it to get myself a 1/8th buggy to run with him. I am gonna try and get him racing this year. Its kind of funny bringing a four year old to the track and watching peoples faces when he clears the doubles and lands as good as most adults I am not going to re-order the mounts as i may sell my firehammer (with less than 2 tanks on it) to fund an 8th buggy (hopefully a Losi 8ight)
What town do you live in?

Yeah i heard about that tornado. They suck, mother nature doesnt give you much of a chance if you take a direct hit.
Im not pulling the pinion to sell it seperately Im just leaving it. It has a Jet pro pipe, steel pinion ,3000mah receiver battery and an hpi fm radio w/failsafe. It also has less than 2 tanks of fuel run through it

that is probably the only way i will get them.
i am thinking real hard about dumping the firehammer on someone else and let them be worried about it.

RE: fg-hopups.com anyone have problems with these guys?
Personally I use Largescalerc to order all my large scale stuff. Troy and Scott are IMO hands down the best guy's to deal with out there for parts for these giants. I ordered my order on monday.....got a call in 2 hours letting me know there was a back order and wednesday I got the rest of the order......2 days! He always uses priority mail and ships when the order is recieved (provided it is paid for). He has all kinds of goodies too! He will reply to your q's right away and will call you if needed. Just my .02 but it's worth .25.

I don't even see a need for tuned pipes cause they have enough power already.

I agree. I have an FG MT and a Sportsline. Aside from the front brake kit on each and prefilters on the carbs they are bone stock.
