My Nutech 1/5 Scale Mega Beetle :-)
Well I took some time this weekend, got the beetle body cut out and installed so I could finally break in my Nutech :-), so far I am very impressed with the quality, right out of the box it has been great and taken more abuse then most I have run and it just laughs at it, I cant wait to get it in the gravel pits with a pipe and different wheels but I need to get it broken in first before I take it to the pits for a beating.
I now have 2 tanks through it so its about time to get a pipe on it and start running it hard, till then here are some pictures and a short video clip of some WFO flips and cartwheels
And here is a little video of my 2nd tank of gas.

Thank You,
Scott

Scott, that is a beauty! And yeah, it is one tough little bug for the abuse you just put it through!
Be sure to tell Chris he did a damn good job in producing a tough-as-nails RC.
Also, when the XT comes out, put up some test vids of that and let us know how that RC holds up, I am seriously considering getting one of those.
BTW, be sure to let us know when you get some TB2 Pro kits in! (Rollers would be what I am after; I just might get one of those instead of an XT.)

P.S I keep telling Chris how happy I am with the product so far and hats off to Nutech along with all there testers, they made the product what it is today and continue to raise the bar with there product by make things better and coming out with more upgrades and accessories, finally a manufacture that listens to there end users and dealers [8D].

RE: My Nutech 1/5 Scale Mega Beetle :-)
Thanks a ton Scott, I really look forward to the TB2 Pro or the XT to be shipped into your hands.
From seeing what your MegaBeatle went through, and also what Mooman has put his test TB2 Pro through, I know these RCs are already great straight out of the box. I can't wait for Chris to get a good supply of these to fill your shelves.
Seeing that the TB2 Pro greatly surpasses Mooman's beloved Redcat Rampages, (which are tough hard RCs themselves), I too have high hopes of getting one of these (a TB2 Pro or an XT) and really taking one of these out to fly!
I'm just so excited that these RCs, after many months of hard testing and continuing improvements, are finally ready in Chris' eyes to go into production and hit the stores.
When Foxy said that MCD better watch out, he was not lying. Nutech has taken the platform and has taken a serious step up.
Chris has definitely made Nutech a star that the other RC companies should follow. Where there are too many other companies who care nothing but making a buck by cloning, and worse, they drive down quality by dumping extremely cheap products on the market which in turn stifles innovation and forward thinking improvements, Nutech has definitely gone the other way and is actually making a push for quality progression and even innovation into RCs again.
As I have said many times before, Nutech has earned my trust through their openness and willingness to put RCs into the hands of actual RC fans to test and for us to openly express areas that can be improved. And not only are they open, but they FIX any weak spots that are found!
And because of this, I will support and buy Nutech products any day over the companies that do nothing but undermine quality and stunt RC innovation.

RE: My Nutech 1/5 Scale Mega Beetle :-)
they certainly are tough, Jim i have the mega monster not tb 2 pro...pwaicon, bently marshall and rckiwi have the pro buggies which are just as tough. Best thing is they are like it out the box without having to chuck loads of cash at them like I did my now mooproofed rampiggie.
the XT has a few changes to be made...think by end of April it'll be ready for preliminary tests in China and Nnutech are hoping by end of May beginning of June to have them in testers hands...production is pencilled in for middle/end of August
