Almost Zero effect on pitch unless you are going very fast
then there will be a transitional pitch down as the flaps extend.
Make sure you slow the flap extension down that way you have time to
react when they deploy.
Since they are split flaps they are drag devices and do not enhance lift.

I 'retired' my tornado since buying a new wing panel was too expensive. The wing is rebuildable but i decided to just go one to another jet. If anyone is looking for parts at 1/2 price then let me know.

Jonkoppish.
Are you coming up to SUPER JET SOUTH at GAJETS (South of ATL) on the 27-29 SEP.
If so bring the parts we have a few that fly the Tornado and you might be able
to unload the parts...

I have a Tornado Version 3.

Will it recover from a spin or should I stay away from them?

Thanks,

It has the same wing section and configuration as the original Falcon and that was a doodle to fly with the C of G as recommended, spinning left or right it recovered without any input, just centralise the controls and pull out, simples.

Hello I would like to touch up the covering on my v1 tornado. Has anyone found a brand of covering that matches the grey used on the grey/orange tornados?

Hi Dave,
i have the whole plane still. I didn't make it to sjs. The booms and stab are all glued together. I would think that it would be pretty expensive to send it out of country. I posted here so anyone interested would know about them being glued

Thanks

Hi Jonkoppisch,
Yes it would make it very hard to send, with the tail glued into the booms but thats what they say to do in the instructions better to be safe than sorry ah?
Do you know if I can buy spare parts for my Tornado from Herny, or not? Need 2 booms with the 2 rudders & tail plane with elevator.
Thanks
Dave.

Hey there,
What was Henry going to charge you for a new wing, is that one half of a wing or both halves?
Thanks.

Hi There,
Just got a reply from Henry, said he had no spare parts? Thought he would of said he could look into getting me somenew parts from where ever he gets these Tornados from?
Looks like I will have to make my own new Stabilizer / Elevator Booms / Rudders. Can some body that has got a new Tornado that hasn't put it together yet tell me the measurement length 0f the stabilizer.
Thanks.

Gee that $265.00 bucks for a complete wing is half of what a new jet is worth plus shipping Wow?
Can see why it would be cheaper just to buy a new model.

Hey backplate it may be cost prohibitive due to shipping but I have a NIB v3 tornado I would be willing to sell cheap.
