Ziv, rudders are removable. Just don't know how accessible the retaining screw is. Elevators are not. You'd have to retrim the model every time you take themout.

New holes will be located on the yellow tape.

RE: Flyeaglejet F35 A 1:7
Hi everybody,
I'm joining this thread because I also purchased a F-35A from FEJ. A buddy of mine will put it together, since I don't have much time to spent.
One first question: who will fly this jet with both flaperons and elevons / tailerons? Seems like a neat combination of steering authority and redundancy?
Kind regards from The Netherlands,
Jolmer Tilstra

Funny, I missed the button of the 2nd page of this thread and missed the post of my buddy Peter Coers...
I'll guess he has to update his progress on two forums now?

Ron, I'm sad to say yes. Great site but it's on a military base and they use them so they stay. Saw a cougar get sifted not to long ago. Just no low passes!

The F35 will be painted over this week and getting its last details for the Dutch version. It will be on the 'open dagen Dutch Airforce' 14/15 june on the stand of nifarp.
New wheel doors.
Placed the tank who is supposed to be in front of the two big tanks between them for better CG, otherwise it is very difficult to find a good balance when fueld.

No problem Peter. Sadly, the markings are just not very exciting. The Danish roundel is on both sides of the fuse, and on the lower left wing/top right wing. The rest is pretty much standard F35 markings.
I hope the RNLAF repaints them as soon as they are ferried from Florida!!
Love your nose gear door mod, and the fact you covered that horrible fuselage seam. You read my mind!! He he :-D

Hey guys, doesn't the hardware clamped down on honeycomb present a potential problem here? I would check this out before flying:

The good thing is that the geometry of the aft fuse where the stab mounts are, is very robust (lots of internal surface area to bond to, 360 deg around).
