Exactly as Digital Pilot and others have said. I set the brakes on during startup and when standing on taxi way waiting to take on the runway. With my transmitter (Jeti DS16/24) i have created a cycling sequencer associated with a switch (parking brakes) which pulses a second of off to re set the brake again...

Sort of but in order to provide the real benefit of an ABS system it would need to be able to detect which wheel(s) were locked and control each brake separately to prevent swerving, etc. If it can't do that I don't think it would be any better than simply reducing the braking force since it's proportional. Of course if you use a switch instead of proportional control for your brakes then pulsing them on/off rapidly could be beneficial.

Here are some flight photos of my Viper.
I will be putting my smoke tank in series to the main tank for additional fuel. That is the vent of the main will be connected to the pickup of the smoke tank and the vent of the smoke tank to the outside. Even though the vent of the smoke tank is already connected to the outside, its of the smaller diameter. So I will use the bigger vent. To save a little weight I will remove the smoke pump the valve and the smoke injector..LOL

Since they are proportional and I use a slider to control brakes I simply adjust them so they just fully lock at max brake setting and apply enough brake to slow the model effectively but not lock up the wheels when set at 50% brake. this allows me to simply land and then move the brake slider to 50% and the airplane stops smoothly without locking up the wheels. I used a Function Curve on the brakes to get these settings but as you say, pulsing the brakes on/off with a sequencer would prevent the wheels from locking up / flat spotting as well. Lots of ways to do things.

Today I flew 6 flights of 7 minutes and 1/3 of the main tank was still full. 80% of the time I was full throttle... But yes I enjoy smoke with a little food coloring....

Your numbers are quite a bit different than mine. For example I have 720mm Front to Main while you have 760. A 40mm difference is alot and I'm wondering if we perhaps measured differently or if I simply messed up..Did you measure from the front axle to one of the wheel axles on the diagonal or to the center of the axles along the center line ? In other words if you look at the landing gear as forming an isosceles triangle, did you measure the Altitude or one of the side of the triangle.
I measured the Altitude, along the center line of the aircraft and if you measured along the diagonal that could explain the difference in out measurements.

The difference of the gear straight vs fully compressed is about 40mm.
The measurement should be made while on the scales.

Wayne... I tape a long masking tape on the table and place the nose wheel on the tape with the nose axle in the middle of the tape. Then I measure from the axle of the main "STRAIGHT" to the center of the masking take. I don't cross diagonally from main to nose gear... Maybe thats the difference...

The gear on the Super Viper doesn't come close to bring fully compressed with a full fuel load let alone fuel only in UAT.. I'll have yo put it together again and double check. Maybe I messed up the coversion from inces to mm but if seem to balance perfectly both ways...

That's how I measured too except I use a laser level to project a line between the main axles and run a tape measure down the center from the nose wheel axle and the laser marks the reading. Don't know how we got such different values. Still the CG machine reads perfectly and lifting at the CG matches.
