Well after several months Im back at it. Finished up the left wing speedbrake with final fitting and gluing the top plate on. Cut excess sheeting off root for fitting onto the fuselage timorrow. Tomorrow I will start the rt wing speedbrakes and then the main gear doors. Plan is to get wing roughed out and be ready for sanding and glassing when weather warms up. Next indoor project is all the little ABS plastic fuselage.doofers. If anyone interested in buying this monster shoot me a pm. I will sell it at my cost. Kit w/fixings and JR8411s. $3800. This is a $6000 kit that all the hard stuff is completed. I also have a Jet Central Rabbit 100SP (24#) for it. $1800.

Nice scale touches. When I finish the other ruddervator today they will be complete and ready for prime. Wings are glassed and will finish speedbrake packages and gear doors next. That will complete the major build areas of this project. Cockpit, lights and painting will follow.

Im back. Did a 3 week RV trip and poor weather before that prevented much work. Early this week I did a base coat white on the wings/tail. Made a template and masked it off. Tomorrow I paint a thin yellow border around the masking tape and 24 hrs later I put on the light blue at the back of the stabs. Then 24 hrs after that the dark blue on the leading edge. For all you young pups that grew up in the ARF world, this is how we used to do it. Gar ran damn tee you this one will be the only one in the entire freaking world. Then I can take it to a fly in and watch all the ARFs win all the wood. At least I can sit back with a big old tumbler of "brown drink" and chuckle.
