There was the Falcon v1 and v2, Turbinator v1 and v2 - essentially the same. Turbinator v3 and v4 which had some carbon fiber loosely attached and heavy glass on the booms. ALL need attention to landing gear mounts, hardening the balsa blocks supporting the boom bolts, engine mount, etc. Do not get caught up in what version. They all need a fair amount of tweaking.

UC mods on page 184 of this thread.
I'll see if I can find some more.
My usual mods;
UC blocks and cutouts for trailing ARM U/C legs.
1/2" aluminium angle under rear deck each side extending forward to rear fuse former.
Dremel rear fuse to locate front case of turbine at rear deck step. (CoG considerations)
Remove covering on wings,, add real glue where needed and sheet.
Remove rear fuse formers, reshape to fit conformal tank and glue in with real glue.
Remove front fuse formers and replace with new one to allow nose retract to fit deeper into fuselage. (nose gear protruded in mine)
(reference to "real glue" is a dig at the factory over the "flour and water" crappy stuff they use)

Wow, long thread! I have a question. I have a chance to pick up a red falcon 120. It does not appear to be carbon fiber reinforced. I have no skills that would allow me to do “ mods” to the kit for turbine use. I have read several threads that say you can, in fact, fly these without the mods if you keep the power to a 60 size turbine, and don’t fly at full throttle for extended time, or when turning the jet at speed. What do you guys think? I’ve had a couple before, and they were a nice , small jet I could haul in my Durango and not have to pull my trailer....good off my local grass field...my other jets are bigger, and composite. I would appreciate any feed back...
