I think it's a bit of a cheap shot taking the mickey out of a South American, whose first language isn't English, for their grammar. Why don't you write your posts in Spanish so we can all have a laugh?

This kinda stuff has been happening for years and has happened domestically and overseas. Even with some of our pioneers in the composite world. It happens in everything, look around you.

Its just not brought out in the open.

No one wants to volunteer to pay more.

Reality, live it.

Make jokes all you want.. the fact that someone has straight-up splashed a BVM jet and is now selling them commercially is a problem. It really makes no difference what the intent or motivation of the original poster was.. stealing is stealing. This person is benefiting from a lot of other people's hard work and investment. The fact that it's prohibitively expensive to import BVM products into their country is 100% irrelevant. It's theft of intellectual property.

Should check the USPTO site if Bob has his BVM logo tradmark registered.

I remember the BVM "Smooth Stop" saga a few years ago.

Using the BVM logo without authorization would suggest that it was an original.
That's a legal issue right there.

The butchered language is a cheap shot but it only reflects back on those taking the shot. By the way, the Brazilian posters' native language is Portuguese so Les you should take your Spanish post, go back to Babel Fish, get it re-translated into Portuguese and then post it.

Doug Cronkhite is correct, if this stuff is going on its wrong. The trouble is that it is tough to police. Should Anonfly have just gone privately to BV; he could have but then what would Bob do?

Some of you might have known Adrian Page, a pretty good former designer/kit supplier. In his case, the Chinese clones frustrated him to the point that he said enough. BV is better established than Adrian was, so he can absorb some cloning, but it all takes a toll.

Aaaahhh HAH! The reason for all this has finally been discovered!

[link=http://www.airshowfan.com/first-airplane.htm]http://www.airshowfan.com/first-airplane.htm[/link]

So that's what this is about huh? All these years later and there's still beef, hmmmm, well here's what we can do. You guys down there get in touch with Uncle Bob and come to some kind of an agreement on cloneing brazillian womens and he might just call the whole thing even, he## he may even let you guys use "BVM" as long as it stands for Brazillian Violet Models" as in the womens type. Seriously good lookin women down there, SHARE folks, send up them clones!

* It's been mentioned before everyone, nothing new, you get what you pay for. Everybody's been copying everybody since the beginning of time that's how we all got to where we are today. It really is difficult to stop. So buy, build or fly what you like, only you know who you really are, even if the rest of us don't.

There's only one BVM Bandit, the rest are clones, so get on with it..........send them clones up, we'll be waiting! [sm=shades_smile.gif]
