I would hope so too. I can't imagine shoes being on the mind of a construction manager!
Shoes are put on racks. So I think Gary meant he was looking at racks and just wanted a nicer way of conveying his thoughts.
Nice rack!

Hi Gary, take your drawing or photo of the clock face to a Kinko's or some other print /copy place and reduce/enlarge it on one of their copier's. Determine what the dia. is you need and reduce/enlarge by whatever % you think it needs and then measure it and adjust the % up or down and repeat till you find the right size.

I was on a lay-over in a Chicago airport one day, very board, and decided to just watch shoes go by to see if I saw any alike...

Hi, I took these pictures of Kenny's CArf Corsair yesterday at Prado.
He did his maiden flight shortly after the pictures were taken, all went well and now I think it's ready for some paint

I did not video the landing, but took pictures instead (see above).
After taking video for 5 mins or so my arm was hurting holding the camera & constantly following the plane.
Maybe next time

Since whe paid a lot of mony for it atleast i want to give it a try,i also modified the cilinders by putting a real oil seal ring in it and a new 316 steel polisched ram.
It took some time and efort to do this but it take the weak spots out of the system so i hope it will work.
By the way,i already learnt a lot from this tread THANKS FOR THAT .

Hello,
Sorry for the hijack of the thead but could you write more about the shaft as the seals you found, and where to get them, perhaps via a private message? I have similar hydraulics on a project I am doing and I don't think the electrics will be viable for me. I am using old Hausl cylinders.
Thanks!

For the schaft i used 316 ore stainles steel ( stainles steel is a bit easier to cut tread on ). As for the seals just google -oil seal rings- and you schould find a store in your aerea that sels them.
If you want more info feel free to contact me ( [email protected] )

If your not posting that means you actually have been getting a lot done..... to me that is a good sign !
Looking forward to some cockpit progress.
Your scratch built oil coolers will arrive friday. Let me know if they need to be adjusted in any way.

OK, just because you asked.
Brian has been hard at it on the wings. The gear bays are just about done as far as plant one is concerned. I'll add the weathering, hydraulic lines, zippered compartment (yes, these bays had a canvas partition with a zipper in it, and it will be on ours), and other details.
Brian did a great job getting the cylinders mounted in the scale positions. You can see how close it was.

Judging by the beautiful work you guys are doing on those gear bays , I think I was right.
The instrument panel looks amazing Gary, all it needs is some tiny 1/4.5 scale fingerprints.................

Thanks MANFRED , I just felt a ship of this caliber deserves some improvement in this area, compared to the ones supplied in the kit.

Beat it up a little too. The gear bay is fantastic. I am still thinking about the lado actuators, they come in 2 sizes, 20 and 30mm extension. Can you measure the throw on your cylinders? I want to avoid installing an air system. Are you using the sequencer from down and locked?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Your throw needs to 1 3/8" on the main gear door actuators.
