Bryon Hellcat brand new RTF in British navy colors, weathered nicely. All high end servos with G-62 on ignition. Should be in a museum. 4 years into the build.

Bryon AT-6 Texan RTF in Blue Angels scheme. G-62 for power. Has a new canopy for it for the new owner to install. Built the same way, all high end servos... $1000.00 over 200 flights.

New Top Flight P-40 arf rtf with a DLE 55 for power. Roy only uses 8711s on his warbirds.

Proctor Curtiss Jenny with Enya glow power. Also Museum quality. $1000.00

Proctor Albatros with a Lazer 280? Also glow power. ALl museum quality.

Also has a BIG 163 comet with electric power and rockets for take off. Not sure of the Kit on this.

Will not ship. At these prices, he does not have to.

I only have pics of these airplanes on my phone and can send them to you via an email address. I don't want to post them on this thread.
Most of these planes have placed or won 1st at Toledo. Thats how nice they are.

Google Roy Maynard and click images... Or Roy Maynard Toledo and click images... Or check the MN Big Birds website.

I don't think you can get one of these Top Flight FW-190s built for less than $2200.00 by the time you are done and have them "RTF"

Hello, how did we get off subject here?
Surely there is another place to do this business on here.

There is another place to do business.

When the business has nothing to do with the topic of the thread, show your fellow members some manners and

please conduct the business with personal messages.

Otherwise, as just happened, the thread gets 4-5 completely off topic posts in a row.

Please use pm's next time.

Are you going with a wrap around or stock muffler on the DA 50?

Yeah LOVE the price games Hobbico plays... Ridiculous.
As if your going to forget that a week ago it was $100 more.
I am sure they will get a lot of complaints about this happening when they were listed as back ordered just a week or so ago when my family ordered mine at the LHS we deal with. Mine came I late last week and I picked it up Saturday the 22. I'll bet you that they say tough sh*t though to the dealer and my family but we will not forget. Looks like another way to screw customers just after Christmas. I do know that when tower puts items on special the dealer gets the same drop in price. How do I know you ask; I used to run GPA hobbies for 15 years and did all the ordering for them this year in the train and plastic model departments.

Is it necessary to cut such a big hole in the bottom? Are you guys doing it for cooling? Mine is on the bench, been trying to sneak out in the garage once in a while during the break!

I belive you can get away wit the size hole i showed in the first photo. I opened it up simple to make room for the pipes then decided to zip them off. So to answer your question i belive you can. the head does stick out just a bit and that helps alot.

This is what i had to do to ensure enough air flow on my monster wulf

Well I hope so. I have worked in the industry for many years and I realy dont care for these tactics. Its price gouging and opportunistic and just poor practice if you want to build brand loyalty. When I had my Corsair customer service epic fail I suggested to Hobbico they should price all of the GS ARF's at no more than $650 because there are better competitive products on the market in this class. Notice all of the planes except the Corsair are now less than $650? Maybe coincidence but the more customers push back the more these companies have to listen.

Hey Mike you jumped into an FW too!? Roberto bought one also have you talked with him?

The opening, done correctly with a baffle around the cylinder head, should be 4x the area of the intake. This creates a vacuum to draw air out of the cowl.
Just making a clearance hole plus the area around the cowl and fuse thats open would be fine as long as operating temps are good.

Which engine did you buy?

As long as it is not a product closeout or a business closing, a reputable retailer that wishes to maintain a loyal customer following will offer the revised price if you contact them within 30 days. I believe if you contact Tower within 30 days they will honor the price change. Below is from their website.

Per Tower's Website :
PRICE AND/OR DESCRIPTION CHANGES All prices, pictures and descriptions on this site and all other Tower Hobbies publications are subject to change. Tower Hobbies maintains no responsibility for inadvertent errors. In the event of typographical errors on our site or in our publications, Tower Hobbies reserves the right to cancel or refuse orders at its sole discretion. Please contact us within 30 days regarding price or promotion discrepancies.

In my opinion, Horizon/Hangar 9 offers a good product, however they very rarely discount their products. Their new 30CC P47 still lists at $750.00 and is a smaller warbird the the Top Flite offerings.

I would like to know if the Robart Fork Electric tail wheel Retrack (160WC-E) would work with the electric mains?

And If any of you know how it fits this Top Flite FW-190?

hello tfarmer96,
I added 1/2x1/2 square blocks over the holes, gives you support for the bolts before they actually start onto the t-nuts, ( hope it makes sense) and you will have to make the tool per the manual, it works well,

which large FW did you build?

You have to make this 7/16 tool which is in the instructions but even then, with that distance, it's a pain in the *****... I'm making cowl service doors to access the screw holes and engine so I don't need to remove the fan/spinner.

That is what I am looking at but the Robart site has them under the Corsair. Tryed to call Robart but their closed this week. And I would like to get the order in. I'm thinking that the difference would be the wheel would go all the way in the fuse.

I got the cowling ring glued in. Im going to use the ring but make it where it bolts on from the back side of the hatch and one at the bottom. This is a little over the top.
