Finally some bigger job which is visible on the first moment. Stabilizer is attached. Glueing of this part is not favourite work. For fixing the right position I used rope loop with rubber part.

Time to make cockpit. At the first time it was necessary to add balsa blocks as a supports of the side panels.
Bases of the side panels are made from the piece of thin plastic desk. Glued by Tamiya glue.

Side panels are already painted. The grey paint is the base colour of whole cockpit and it is the same paint I used for radio station. Some other details of the cockpit will be painted outside the panels.

Elevator control lines are fixed. For the rudder pushrod I have to make support, because the fuselage former is too close. It would be dangerous because of vibration.Side panels are almost complete.

As usually there was a problem with the choke pushrod. Big advantage of the Roto engine is, that there is a spring on the choke flap control. We donīt need pushrod, but we can use some string to lock the choke, because the flaps is opened by throttle lever. The string goes thru small tube.

Revi gunsight is done. The paint is not the finall one. I put only one layer of some grey paint because of better details shots. On the yellow surface the are not visible very well.

Now Iīm continue with the cockpit details. Each MG barrel has two parts. Outer perforated cooler and the barrel. Both of the parts I painted separately, it would be looks better. Glued barrels I will put into the MG body.

I was looking for Stuka details and noticed one detail on the stab. I didnīt find any Stuka with blue lower part of the stab winglet as ESM make. Look at the attached pictures. It is evident, that whole winglet was green.
I decided to repair it.

Stukaīs and Bf109īs spinner with the spiral look great, but the if you must to paint the spiral your self, it could be a painting challenge. I tried to make the similar wide stripes. I put four layers of the black paint. The result is not bad.

Some progress on the cockpit. I cut the canopy and trimmed the gunner. Pilotīs canopy is sliding, so the canopy will be cutted. The material of the canopy is very thin and pliable it is necessary to strut the canopy. I made two frames. There is small edge for the canopy. Look at the detail picture.
