Any 2.8 rims and tires will work, if your using the ones for the Traxxas Rustler/Stampede/jato then you want all 4 rears.
You're talking about the nitro rear wheels, correct?

Oh, I also forgot to ask. I know the Volcano uses 12mm hex hubs, but how thick are they? Would I benefit from using the Traxxas grey wheel hubs? Here they are in case you are wondering:

Either one if your running the electrics.

No benefit. There the same as the stock ones just grey instead of black.

Right, but the electric front/nitro rear wheels have a bigger offset than the electric rear wheels, right?

how these engines work is the there is the nipple in the exhaust pipe, which connects to the tank. these engines cant pull gas to the carb so the pressure from the pipe to the tank makes it so the engine can suck the fuel it needs. when you take the pipe off it will idle and run good at low rpm's but it wont pull high rpm's because it cant suck the fuel that fast by itself. so basically you need the pipe, or at least you need pressure in the fuel tank at all times somehow

i think this is just the gear, it looks like it http://shopping.netsuite.com/s.nl/c....d.333/.f?sc=14
then this is it put together http://shopping.netsuite.com/s.nl/c....d.332/.f?sc=14

really i would go with the direct drive, its so much better. i have yet to strip a gear, and i got a pretty good amount of performance from it.

Hey guys, I just got my first nitro, a volcano sv and have started breaking in the engine when I noticed I bought morgans omega fuel for it, 15%. I meant to grab a different bottle, but picked up the omega bottle in the store and didn't notice until now.
Do you think it will be a problem using this fuel in the volcano sv?

Thanks

there shouldnt, but i reccomend 20% fuel, ive never heard of anybody using 15, it should be fine but you will get better performance from 20%. if anything just use that fuel and then get a diff kind next time

anyone have any detailed diagram or video on how to set the throttle and brakes on my s30.upon putting direct drive trans it moved the engine over tightning up the throttle.and also i took the piece off that turns them trying to re set it.so b4 the spur gear broke while in nuetral it would already want to go.

also could i tune my engine while the trans is off or would that not be good.

Go with an O.S. A3 plug; not necessarily a good idea to go with ANY glow plug.

the e clip on the front holds it on plus there is not enough space for it to slide out.
