Thanks. I think I'll ask for it for chrismas and save my money. But I'm still undecided as to if I should get a volcano sv or ugrade my stampede. I really need new batteries so......please give opinions.

According to Redcat Racing, the Volcano only has 30mm or 3 cm of ground clearance, which is about 1 inch. Is there more than that?

There are trucks with more than that 1/8 scale for example. Now you can make the volcano have more by simply bendng the tabs on the chassis down and putting in spring spacers (cheap) and changing the shock oil to a higher weight also cheap. I have found that with mine it has enough clearance to go over loose stone, kinda high grass 2 inches (not the fastest but it will do it) pavement now it wont rock climb but thats not what it is made for. For a great starting truck get the volcano sv.
