Well if teh avalanche is on a track with a savage it would kill it. Plain and simple. The savage wont handle like an avalanche.

Hey nitrozach. I have the ultrawide, and one of the best upgrades you can get are the aluminum c-hubs. I've broken so many c-hubs I can't count. I put the aluminum hubs on, and haven't had a problem. Oh yeah, and order plenty of extra drive cups. All of them.

One word..

AVALANCHE! [sm=punching.gif]

I really like the look and stance on the Avalance BUT the jumping and control of the Monsoon is sick. That's why I have the Avalanche tires and shell on a Monsoon kit with the back wing off! :P Off the line speed is ILL...

i think i should have gone with the ultrawide. looks like a much more simple design than volcano. less parts to replace..

I totally agree with you John....buggy is the way to go...you also want to skip the 1/10ths and ultralights...they WILL NOT take the abuse a 1/8th buggy will...I seen you said $250 is your max...save up a lil more cash and buy a 1/8th, I promise you that you will be much happier and spend alot less in the long run

if ya order a hurricane there is a couple little things you need to do.....like with any rc ya need to locktite all screws going into metal, make sure all the screws are tight and your carb settings are set...you also will need to remove the screws that hold the front arms to the steering knuckle...ya need to get screws approx 3 mm longer...then before going back together put a couple drops of tire glue (super glue) on the threads...this will help keeping the screws coming loose and or the threads in the knuckle to become stripped

the viper 2s is a 1/10th and its based on the megap series......I have the mtr-3 and although its a nice truggy its still doesnt compare to a 1/8th...how hard are you planning to bash??...and how big of jumps you planning on?.

Well not 1/10th can really beat the durability of a 1/8th since the parts are larger and thicker. But if you are going to go with 1/10th I think the ones your thinking of getting are the best you can get! [8D]
