The Q75 has an angled side carb very similar to the 3W75US and rear exhaust. One trick to use is canting the engine just a bit so the carb wont show through the side like on this Meister ME109.

The only downside is the weight. Most warbirds need that extra weight of a Quadra75 on magneto way out front to help with CG.

yeah, the fuse is 96in long. That is a tough fit in a normal SUV. I have Futaba 3305s on the ailerons and Hitec 225MG on the elevator halves.

Hey Woody,I dont know the amp draw. I made one flight of about 5 minutes with throttle management. I tried to make a second flight and after about 3 or 4 minutes it hit LVC, no problem, just glided...

Hey Billy, Lenny here. I have the Alpha Mig with the 2015-5400 and it flies great. Am waiting on a better battery pack though. The Kokam 1500 3S is taxxed to the limit even with throttle management....

IMO, you don't need port work or the electronic ignition(which didn't help top end power at all). This engine makes a bunch of pwer in the higher RPM ranges(8000 to 9000). If you want to see it...

If its going on a warbird, use a 18x8-14 Zinger. You should see about 7700rpm. Dont prop this engine like a 3W at 6500, it will be a dog. These engines make a lot more power in the higher rpm range...

Congrats, I know the feeling. I got my son flying giant warbirds at 15. He is an air traffic controller in the Army Airborne at Ft. Bragg now. A couple pics when he was 16 at a fun fly, almost 21 now.
