RE: What gyro are you using? Does anyone have experience with this gyro?

Thank, credence. I'll consider a GY240. I do have an older computer TX. It is a Futaba 6XHA. Will this work with the GY401 and the benefit of gain control on the TX?

RE: What gyro are you using? Does anyone have experience with this gyro?

Thanks, again:) In terms of 401 and 201, what are the differences? If I only do ff flights and no 3D, would the 201 be sufficient? Or, should I just fork out the little extra and leave room for...

I does not have any name/lable on it. But the specs on the ebay site looked exactly like a GY401. The link is http://cgi.e_ay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170010811892

What gyro are you using? Does anyone have experience with this gyro?

I would like to know if anyone has purchased this gyro before? It looks like a clone of Futaba GY401 but cost only half. Don't know if I should try it. It is being sold on ebay...

RE: GWS Pico TIGER MOTH - Flight Report

Hello:

This little plane is sooo cool. I have successfully converted over to planks:D The Tiger Moth flies steady, even in light wind. With throttle at minimum, the plane appears as if it's...

RE: Newbi seeks advice

Thanks, Jedtray!

Do you recommend painting the TM? What kind of paint is suitable for it?

I would love to see some pics on how to string the flying wire.

RE: repair #36 or buy something better?

get a rex or an arx-400, both are less than $100 and are excellent with your current equipment.

RE: pinion problem w/ df 36

in the States, we have something called 'Loctite' It's like super glue, but you can take it off by heating the pinion. The glue is used to lock the threads on bolts. Go to your local hobby store...

RE: Help with Heli decision "PLEASE"

You can try and build a DIY landing gear. Use steel wire like those from a cloth hanger, drill a hole through the chasis, bend the wire landing struts and glue the ends to the landing skies. The...

RE: walkera upgrade???

Well, in theory, you could. However, I think it's more practicable to just buy the trex or the x-400 since the overall quality is much better. The built tolerance is a lot tighter for the trex,...

RE: Help with Heli decision "PLEASE"

I have the V2 but mod the tail to direct drive. I also use the pro poiccoboard on the V2 with heading hold. It flies great with rock solid tail. It's a very tough heli.

RE: Help with Heli decision "PLEASE"

I see... The Century Hummingbird is not a bad heli as I also have one myself. The weakest point with this heli is the landing strut. One hard landing and you'll be taking out the super glue to glue...

RE: walkera upgrade???

Walkera #36 belt system will not work in the #35. I have a #36, a #35, and also a T-rex. The #36 is a clone of the T-Rex and the boom diameter of #36 is bigger than the #35. There are upgrades for...

Shogun= stable hover, gentle flight...

RE: Will this Trex setup be OK?

If you are going to keep your rx where it is, I would suggest you putting tape over the crystal to prevent it from falling off during flight.

RE: Need some help on buying a radio for dragonfly 36

The one that you are looking at should be fine. You will need at least 6 channels and with throttle and pitch curve programmable. It would be best to have five or more point adjustment, but a 3...

RE: trex with walkera electronics?

yeah, couldn't agree with you more! Besides, a computer radio has functions to program 6 or more models. This will definitely allow you and further motivation to expand your fleet:D
