RE: Failed PPM range test

I had the same problem. PCM worked really good, changed to PPM (antenna routed the same way) and it failed miserably. Re-routed the antenna so it goes behind a former, then up through the hole where...

RE: New HFP-10 Programmer will not Reset 5645

Good news...I just spent a bunch of time programming my matchbox on one wing but I'll wait for the programmer now. I'm really happy to hear that.

RE: Extreme Flight RC Yak 54 - 74 inch!

For me the OS 160 is perfect. It's not that expensive at $299, it's light, it is very happy on 5% ($11/gallon) which when tuned right it consumes very little, and it's got plenty of power. With an...

RE: New HFP-10 Programmer will not Reset 5645

RE: Extreme Flight RC Yak 54 - 74 inch!

It seemed like the bolts where a tad too small. The first one wouldn't get snug at all. It just kept on turning. The other one did at first but not later. I guess if yours get snug they're OK but I'd...

RE: Extreme Flight RC Yak 54 - 74 inch!

STG...I would change those wing bolts If I were you. On mine one of them wasn't good and the other stripped within a few flights.

RE: 3W-106, objective opinions please

When IS it necessary? Is it pretty much the same thing if I run the line into the fuse? Is there any chance that fuel will drip into the fuse? What's the purpose of that thing. Does it take air in or...

RE: Extreme Flight RC Yak 54 - 74 inch!

Hehe...Same here. That thing gulps down the fuel but still love it :).

Actually last couple of times I flew I had the OS a tad rich (400-500 off peak as opposed to 200-300 and also a bit rich on...

RE: Extreme Flight RC Yak 54 - 74 inch!

These days NIMH batteries are getting lighter and lighter. You can now find AA size ~2600 mah cells at 1oz each (even though you really get only about 2200 out of them) and very cheap. I got a 5 cell...

RE: New HFP-10 Programmer will not Reset 5645

Well I just got my programmer too and I have the exact same symptoms as STG and toprudder. I guess I have to send it in to Hitech Service. It looks like there is a few that act the same.

RE: Extreme Flight RC Yak 54 - 74 inch!
