52 oz is alot, but that is with a 555 brushed motor and and nicad battery. I would be using brushless and lipos so that should lighten the weight,

Very intersting responds guys. The 30 bucks a battery is tempting, but if they don't perform well i guess its better for modelers to stick with thunder-power
