no i don't use any type of balancer adapter to charge, i was told I don't need to balance it every time i charge it.
Does having your battery out of balance lead to short flight times.

i want the lightest battery with the most mAh, somewhere around 2000 mAh, and is about the weight of the stock battery so i can get this thing balanced. There is not much room to move things around...

i think the blade CX2 would be a good choice for an eight year old, its easy to fly, can fly indoors and is good for begineers and is still very fun to fly.
