RE: YS CLUB

The regulator on my particular YS110 (new version) only travels in 1.5 turns from flush before bottoming out. Is this normal??? I haven't had any issues, but I just noticed that and thought I'd...

RE: Showtime

Well gang, I chickened out on the Saito/Perry setup and just bought a new YS FZ110-S. Seemed to be the more performance-oriented and simpler package. Both good things for what I want to do with this...

RE: Showtime

Ok, thanks. That actually helps a lot. It looks like space is going to be tight in that cowl, so that should get me going in the right direction!

RE: Showtime

Thanks for the info. Since I'm planning to use this plane to develop my 3D skills (including hovering) then it sounds like I should go with the Perry pump. Any mounting or setup suggestions for the...

RE: Mini Ultra Stick

I started using slow-fly props on mine when I ran the 450 motor. A 10x3.8 worked out pretty well for me. Just put yours on a wattmeter and make sure. A lighter battery and/or any other weight you can...

RE: E-Flite Mini Funtana X

I'm flying my Mini Funtana X with a Power 10 and cc45a controller. I built and maidened it with a Park 450, but the performance wasn't exactly awe-inspiring. The plane flew and behaved just fine, but...

RE: READ THIS before you even THINK about starting your RTR Savage!

Hey guys,

This thread turned up in a search I did to find out if there's a backplate for my Mach 427 that'll let me use my HPI rotostart with it. Any info or suggestions on this?? Will the XTM...

RE: Where can I get a Fioroni sliding clutch for my Muggy?

Cool, thanks. I think I'll try the HPI shoes and venteb bell before I step up to the Fioroni stuff. Which HPI flywheel did you use? Is it necessary to make those shoes work or did you just go to it...

RE: Where can I get a Fioroni sliding clutch for my Muggy?

Does the Fioroni setup work better than the Werks clutch?? Do you use the 12t clutch bell with it or can the stock bell be used as well?

RE: wont go into 2nd

Make certain you are adjusting the correct screw. There are two in there. Check the diagrams in your instructions to see what I mean. If you've got it tuned even halfway decent, it should only take...

RE: locker for a nitro rs4 3evo

A one way diff. locks in one direction (forwards typically) and free-wheels in the other (typically deceleration). The ball diffs use the friction of a bunch of captive ball bearings riding around a...

RE: Im pissed.

Are you still using the 2-speed center diff?? I had an issue where I accidentally loosened the wrong screw when adjusting the shift point and it allowed the rear end to basically spin free, not being...

RE: locker for a nitro rs4 3evo

HPI makes a one-way diff for the RS4 3evo. It's supposed to used in the front though. They also make a ball diff for the rear that may be useful to you.

RE: what's the point of the Jato 3.3

If you take the time to put a decent setup on them, they actually seem to work pretty well off-road. I yanked off all the unnecessary stuff (ez-start, rear-mount batt. box, roll bar, dirt guards,...

RE: jato ?

I ditched the EZ Start stuff because it started getting beat up from use and it was a heavy, complicated mess that just bugged me. I use a rotostart and it's been flawless. I also have a Savage X SS...

RE: Servo reccomendations for X SS

Thanks for the help guys. It looks like I'll be going with the Hitec 5955 for steering and the Hitec 985 for throttle/brake. Thanks again for helping me narrow the stuff down!

RE: Servo reccomnedations for X SS

Spektrum radio and the truck is 99% used for bashing and racing around my neighborhood, etc. I'm willing to spend the extra $$$ to put good parts in it to make it perform, but I don't need the most...
