i would tear the tranny down and the diffs and check the gears. also see if your clutch is eccesivly worn. make sure all the splines in your drive shafts are in good shape. if the motor still start...

im pretty sure it is a kit but i think what they mean is you will have to seperatly buy the engine and electronics because VERY few kits come with those things

unlike what you had been told before you do not want the whole tire to be touching the ground. se it up so only the inside portion is touhing cause the more tire touching the ground the more friction...

take the plug out turn it over and use the ez start or whatever kind of starter you are using and turn the motor over for 10 seconds or so. that should get any water out of the motor that might still...

I just traded my jato for a revo. the revo has a few hopups but the biggest one is a rb tm 323 engine. i have read alot of great things about this motor and alot of not great things about this motor....

you shouldnt need to break it in. my neighbor has that and a baja b5 and he didnt break either in and he has had them for a while and they work great. so i would say no you should be ably to take it...

you can use the x's diffs and what you need is an alloy diff case sometimes when under power the plastic diff cases will flex and allow the gears to strip if you have an aluminum case that wont...

what type of materials can i have a chassis for a traxxas jato made in. i would consider purchasing a 4-5mm carbon fiber chassis since i cant find cf chassis anywhere else for the jato.
