Mine did that a little, I turned down the rates and it seemed to help. Strange about the receiver going, my esc was not shutting throttle down completely and I reprogramed it and it works fine now....

My slash 4x4 is surviving pretty well, on 2 s I don't see any wear on the drive shaft joint holes. The 4x4 stampede seems to be eating them, even with 50C 2 cells the rear axles don't live...

Grass is cut with some hardpack I checked the motor after about 15 min and it was around 145F with 2 cells. Did the 72 chevy body in competition orange, much easier to see.

It may be the slipper clutch is too loose. Pull the gearbox cover off and tighten the bolt with the spring some with the wrench that came with it. A brushless motor would be a good option.

They are fun in the sand with the paddles, last one I set up was a nitro, and things get pretty dirty and grindy, the electrics seem better suited for this.

Thanks, I did a 16/86 set-up and it seems to run very cool and scoots across the sand pretty good, nice little rooster tail, I'll probably put a big Castle system in it with a 3 cell in it...

The Pro-Line's hook up pretty good on the clay, as with any 2 wheel drive racer you have to be carefull on the throttle, and plan your slides well. It will pass 4 wheel drive Slash's on the straights...

Thanks for the info, I'll try some of that. The VXL power is good, but you can't even use it on the track, it'll just spin. Definitely have to do a lot of tweaking on this one.
