you could probably run a 12x7, buy a few 2 blade props and experiment to find the one you like best

as a general rule, if you go from a 2 blade to a 3 blade you must drop an inch in diameter, so...

dual servos are good, and also flaps (cut the aileron about 70\30 with the 30 part being flaps).

one bay is all you need to clip off.

you can also cut out some balsa wingtips to make it...

try epoxying a fibre-glass cloth around the centre of the wings and it should be pretty much solid, ;) and youd be surprised at how hard you can land some of these planes before they break, i managed...

reminds me of my old IT lessons when we used to make cracks about the 3 1/2" Floppy Disk drive.

i suppose its because the majority of this sport is engineering oriented (tuning engines, rebuilding engines, setting up radio gear e.t.c) and the most females i know dont tend to find that...

i see what you mean about finance, im only 15 myself so sometimes raising the funds for a project is very hard.

that being said, it costs me about £30-£40 to fully build an airframe from plans...

Ive seen four stars used as cropduster, banner/glider tugs, aerial photography platforms, they really are great utility planes capable of doing...

best bet would be second-hand off ebay or maybe sweet-talk your local LHS (get coverage in the local newspaper or on the 'net?)

my LHS is a two-story converted car garage, very small shop owned by a local guy called Nev, the bottom of the shop is full of planes of varying shapes and sizes, all of which are customer models...

i prefer to build either on a large flat floor, or on a coffee-table height desk.

the cutting, sticking e.t.c i do standing up, also if ive been sitting down for a long time i find i get cramps...
