They will always have the best prices on CPU/motherboard combos.

RE: I need a computer geek!

For reference, here is a chart from Tom's Hardware showing how different video cards stack up in Microsoft Simulator X, showing Frames per Second (FPS) with Max setings (simular program type). Hint:...

RE: I need a computer geek!

I do not consider myself a geek, but as a sideline I build about 20 computers a year for folks that need specialty computers. Your 500 watt power supply is overkill with your setup, but allows for...

RE: Help with Ultrafly Ultimate Bipe

I have this plane and have built three others.

The best combination in my opinion is the E-flite park 480 with the TP 2100 battery and 12-6 electric prop. We have tried up to a power 25 and it...

RE: Sims comparison: physics

I have only tried two sims FSOne and G3.5 and G4. FSOne has the physics and G4 has the entertainment. Either one is going to improve your abilities.

FSOne can be difficult to set up correctly...

Did anyone else see MSelig (Micheal Selig) and FSOneDev (Brian) on Unsolved History (Military Channel) last night and today? They were introduced as commercial grade flight simulator developers. I...

RE: best flight simulator?

For $99 it would be hard to walk past FSOne especially if you are concerned with Plane Physics.

RE: FS One by Hangar 9

The simulator threads always seem to go dormant during the summer when most are out flying rather than practicing. I would also like to hear what, if anything, is going on with FSOne as it seems...

RE: G4 and a big monitor?

I have been spoiled with a freind that has his home theater set up with a 210 inch 1080p projection screen with message chairs and a stereo system requiring 8 dedicated 20 amp circuits (+/- 7000...

RE: How Much Longer For FSOne Hanger pack?

Just my speculation, but I would think they are adding some last minute planes and helis which requires a model, video testing to verify flight characteristics and creation of an initial setup and...

RE: flight simulator problem

You might want to try changing your screan size to lower the resolution of the display. The program you are using is FMS (I believe) and does not have what anyone would consider great graphics, but...

2. Place the file in c:\windows\system32

This is common to Vista since Microsoft has decided to...

Joey V.,

Tacon is plug and play as all of the planes and helis are already set up , although many users have had a problem if they do not follow the instructions to calibrate the Tacon. I would...

MSelig,

Regarding post 1203 where you said "I could talk about the physics, but I'll let the videos do that."

I for one would be extremely interested in your opinion on the physics involved...

RE: For those who have the 2-player Usb interface with FS One

I am pretty sure that you plug the two player module in to a seperate USB port. The original USB module has to be there for the software to run.

RE: what sim to buy? G3 or FS1

RE: FS One by Hangar 9

MSelig-

I was thinking a 40-45" wingspan keeping a 1.66-2:1 thrust in mind (somewhat scaled to actual) using electric with about 40 oz. weight sounds about right to keep it honest.

11 -...
