You might be thinking of the 2 times "Sig Wonder" spad I had built in 2009, and indeed could not get to leave the ground. I think the high thrust line of the turbine wouldnt let it rotate. That one...

Even with 35 per cent half a fuel, don't expect to fly the bird too...
