RE: is it true about the 3 speed?

RE: got my X from e-bay........

RE: is it true about the 3 speed?

I am too contemplating the 3spd upgrade. I bought a used gearset (no broken teeth) from a local RC club guy. It's already in a non X case, but I want to swap it into my X SS case. I also read that...

Yeah, I have dropped mine for 5 ft and done running carthwheels with it and nothing has broken. Everything is still in tact. The X is a beast. SS just has some upgraded components.

RE: Is it possible for a Sav to look TOO good???

Hmmm, I didn't see the part about the 17mm washers. I will have to put them on then. I use the 17mm stock hexes and the corresponding flange nuts.

RE: Nomidio react question?

You have to buy the sensors separately. The radio kit comes with radio, battery, receiver and usb cable.

RE: Great....now what should I do?

I wonder why HPI just doesn't do away with the X and just package an X SS kit and an X SS RTR? Kinda silly to just drop a 4.6 into an RTR and not offer any of the other upgrades that the X SS has.
