The cowl was butchered to make it fit. Had to be mounted sideways and it sucked the fuel down fast.
However with a 16x12 prop it was a rocket estimate 100mph+ couldn't keep it in sight at my field.

Do you by chance have pictures? I have a a hangar 9 p51 blue nose I want to do this to... My os.120ax just looks ugly on the front of it

I'm talking about turbulator spars then...

so how do you sand them down without sanding the curvature of the ribs out that is between the turbulator spars?

what to glue canopy on with?

I have a hangar 9 p51 mustang that the prev owner had the canopy screwed on.. I'm not to fond of this and would like ti glue it on. I've been told elmers white glue would work. Any suggestions?

ok to charge fling battery at .1ah?

Guy I got another glider, a great planes fling and I also got the reccomended 2/3aaa 350mah battery pack for it. Manufacture say only charge at 40mah but my charger will only go down to 100mah.

Just to give an update a friend gave me a 16x6 prop and it seems to be the ticket for the 1.20ax.. still has killer top speed thoughand slows down good for landings

With the 1.20ax it is overpowered.. with 15x12 prop at 8krps it will rocket out od sight... the bad part is it doesn't land well it flys way to fast at idle. I can fly the plane at a little less...

as preventative measure I'd try to wick some foam safe ca into / around the gear mounting plate, then lay a piece of reinforced packing...

I just lost the gear on mine on touchdown...

Came in, set her down and the gear folded back, heres some pics, it appears the mount wasn't fully glued into the fuse.

Do a search for keychain camera and you'll see a ton of them. they look just like a car remote / key fob.

I was flying sunday and being new to my field a member saw me take the radian up, asked if it was ok to mount a camera on it and I said sure!

Results are pretty cool, had it angled down a little...
