I think that is too much motor and battery. I have a converted truck with a Mamba Monster and 2200kv combo and it does a standing back flip on 4s. It is also wicked fast and at times in tight areas...

I have mine running now. And it did something I would not believe possible on only a 4s setup. A standing back flip!![X(]

Again, so far I have not had very good success. I am now at a point were I have to wait because of the cost of good lipos. My sugar momma says they are not in the budget.

Here is one of the earlier setup for the center diff. I am now using a 66t spur from a Matrix and the mount has been changed a little to allow for the larger gear.

To be politically correct I have not had a very good experience with the magnum. The drive line is weak and will require you to spend an additional 300 dollars to make it hold up. I would look at...

i have, but i have not had very good success apparently battery choice is very critical or you'll burn up the mmm the wheels on these trucks are just too big. Ive heard a lower kv motor is in order.

from the pipe is normal.  the front of the motor, sounds like you need to remove the carb and seal it with silicone.  it's ashame your ready to run is not quite ready to run.
