If it has a centrifugal clutch on the engine, no the blades will not spin until the engine is above a certain rpm. just remember to keep your collective stick all the way down, and hold the head...

Part of the problem is we instructors tend to not teach people to use the rudder. Joeb is right once you are proficient with the rudder you have so much more control. You just need to get used to...

I have a 20 year old 1/3 scale cub and it what a crowd pleaser it is! I only fly it during major events, but flying the rudder is a must. The sooner you learn to fly the rudder the better off you...

Go for it man! There is enough info here on RCU that someone can help you set the heli up. Learning to fly a heli is different than learning to fly a plane, but I would not say it is any harder. ...

you hit the nail on the head. Digital servos correct themselves many more times per second than analog ones do.

Starting your heli at half stick is quite dangerous, not to mention you will wear out your clutch prematurely. Mine will start at idle most every time, and if it doesn't I will run...
