Well my DM-1 spec and tekno conversion arrived at my house today instead of being mailed to me at my base so now I have to wait until April to set it up. So now I will just send the rest of the parts...

What do you think of the carbon fiber front vertical shock conversion? I was reading up on it and some DM-1 owners say it helps handle better.

For sure! I still need to get use to driving a street car and unfortunately at my base we have no paved roads, just dirt and rocks.
Maybe I can barrow part of the airstrip when it is not busy

Alright, just bought my 1/8 DM-1 Spec kit from towerhobbies and tekno brushless conversion kit from nitrohouse. Everything should arrive within 2 weeks. I plan to run the tekin RX8 brushless system....

Was curious where you got the rear horizontal shocks..I know the DM-1 Spec has vertical rear shocks. Did you use front shock mount parts to convert the rear?

those are the traxxas championship racing Edition Response tires and rims. I think they are 1/2 off set but what really add to the wide stance are the wheel extenders. It is sitting right at 11.4 or...

Dont waste your money unless you want your car to be a shelf queen. I installed them on my MERV...

Nice MERV - I like the roll cage. I have been looking for one to paint blue or come in blue but all are sold out that I see. Just another item on my list for upgrades.

They batteries were still pushing it at to top speed and seemed to have plenty of juice left. If the switch is bad, i can just replace it with another one right?

I drove it about 3/4 speed over...
