i have a similar question. i have the savage 17mm conversion with uv joints but i want to use proline wheels but they are 23mm. will their 23mm conversion still work if i have the 17mm hubs from hpi?

you could always run nimh. its not going to give you the run timeof lipo but you can get some decent 5000mah packs for about 70 bux each.

as for the rtr being sluggish compared to the ss. hpi has now updated the rtr. its called 5b 2.0 and the first was dicontinued. its got almos tall of the upgrades as the ss and some more added.

ok i ran it for a bit and it still did it. so i richened it. its running pig rich at idle but when it moves it revs good. i think its the pipe. its not putting in enough back pressure.

didnt make one bit of difference. also ran on dirt and concrete. the leaner i make it the worse it gets. im going to blame it on a few things for now

what do you mean by blowing away the tires? the tires are hpi nubz with packed foam so they dont balloon. also 10k diff oil.
