As a general rule I set my charge current so as to get a 4hr charge for NiMh. This is the fastest I would go on NiMH. Safe enough for the pack and fast enough to be practicle. My Duo plus 30 easily...

Are you sure its an Ultramat 25. This charger has 4 read buttons and charges up to 5 amps depending on power source.
