RE: SKYRAIDER LOVERS

I think the sierras are the same size as the robarts, so I think it should not be a problem. Do you have the sierra retracts website address so I can look at the dimensions and make sure it fits?

This is a continuation of an existing thread which surveyed which airplane people would like to see "kitted". They chose the Skyraider. This will have the development of the Skyraider and when I am...

RE: What airplane would you like to see kitted at .40 or .60 size?

Thank you all for the replies so far, it is really helpful in making a decision.

I think we have established that a .60 Size Scale Plane would be more demanded by the democracy.

So, here is...

RE: What airplane would you like to see kitted at .40 or .60 size?

I was wondering, what is your definition of a nice kit? Is it easy to build, fiberglass parts, parts fit nicely, great scale looks? durability? When you say nice, I just want to get a feeling of what...

RE: What airplane would you like to see kitted at .40 or .60 size?

That Maule M7 looks like a trainer. It'll probably float real nice and could be designed fairly easily. Looks a lot like a Pilatus. I saw someone at my field with that similar looking Pilatus, it had...

RE: What airplane would you like to see kitted at .40 or .60 size?

Hmm. Bigger is better. Well, yes it flies better, bigger reynold numbers, better stability... I have a 1.2 Pitts special. Flies real nice. I get scared crapless when I fly that thing, because if I...

RE: What airplane would you like to see kitted at .40 or .60 size?

RE: What airplane would you like to see kitted at .40 or .60 size?

All doable...I like that Lockheed electra! It's doable, but going to give me issues with the landing gear. Maybe I'll have to slightly increase the size of the nacelle to fit the wheel, tank and...

RE: What airplane would you like to see kitted at .40 or .60 size?

you're so funny :D

If its hard to design, it probably will be just as hard to build.

Actually, maybe it won't be so bad in a 60 size...Maybe there's a way to do a different type of retract...
