RE: Battery Upgrade

The ticket to speed is voltage. If you want a slight edge, go to 8.4 volts. If you want to be undefeated, go for 9.6 or 11.1
The only trade off if using the Nicads is the weight. If I was in your...

RE: Sbach 30cc Build thread

Nitro,

You mentioned that there was a wing damged. Did you buy this from WH?
And he said it would be too costly to replace but he sent you some covering? Is this correct?

I was thinking...

73" 540 YS 4 Stroke

I'm looking for some prop recommendations from any 73" Edge guys using a YS 120-140 engine.
Ultimately I will be using it for some 3D after I get used to it. I will be using a 1.40.

Thanks in...

Fuel tank question

I'm using my YS 63 in a Funtana 40 size. I'm concerned that the seamed stock fuel tank (Hanger 9) will not stand up to the pressurization of this engine. The problem is that apparently this tank was...

RE: 1.20 Edge Review, the beginnings

bandjc,

When I mounted the Webra with the carb off, the head was very close to touching he inside of the cowl too. Enough for me to rotate it away from it. This centered the carb up in the cowl...

RE: 1.20 Edge Review, the beginnings

bandjc,

Your carb interference is nothing like what I'm seeing. I think there's a few differences. One the carb size on the Webra is huge, also the angle of the carb is greater.
The 1.60 is...

RE: 1.20 Edge Review, the beginnings

bandjc,

Thanks for the shots of your set up. Tell me, does your 1.60 carb hit the front of the cowl by the spinner boss?
I'm actually putting a Webra 1.20 in mine only because I have it. I was...

RE: 1.20 Edge Review, the beginnings

Bob,
Back on page 2, Silversurfer mounted a servo in the engine box. He didn't use one of the cutouts, it looks as though he made a mount for it.
I also found a picture of the servo cut out and...
